FEARLESS VOICES MUSIC THERAPY

Vulnerability is Strength

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

At Fearless Voices, our mission is to encourage, support and empower your strengths, abilities and personal voice.  Sessions are shaped around your choices, needs and goals using a client-centred, strengths-based, trauma-informed approach. You do not need musical skills to participate in music therapy - your therapist plans and facilitates the musical experiences in collaboration with you.

Individual and group sessions are tailored to support non-musical goals such as improved communication, emotional well-being, cognitive and social goals. We use an array of engaging, client-led activities drawing upon the powerful, transformative tool of music. You might select active music listening with discussion, music making with instruments, singing, drumming or songwriting to help you build self-confidence and skills.

Fearless Voices Music Therapy respectfully acknowledges the traditional custodians and the past, present day and emerging elders of the Bidjigal, Darug and Darkinjung nations. It is upon unceded Aboriginal lands that we strive to support people of all backgrounds, abilities, bodies and cultures through music. We recognise the enduring kinship and songlines retained in these lands and cherish the rich and ongoing connections First Nations people have to Country, culture, song, knowledge and artistic expression.
